Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4423947 Wake me up when there's no quakes. That would be weird and cause for concern. I agree with this. Small quakes means pressure is still being released constantly and not necessarily building up. "What you perceive to be becomes your reality." :ftwpanda: dapurps |

You're saying it's perfectly normal and typical to have such amounts of these over there? I'm not stupid and well aware of the nature of the area. Even so, what I'm seeing there doesn't look typical to me at all, nor match my previous observations about the usual number of quakes in California and Alaska. |

Swarm of earthquakes means pressure is being released. There's nothing bad about that. If it got quite then yes that's bad because pressure would be building. There's nothing bad about that. Quoting: Dapurps Yes, I know this and have not claimed the swarms would be "bad" themselves. Well this to me is an oversimplification. The fact that swarms do indicate "pressure being released" is one thing, the fact that the swarms keep coming and coming may indicate something like "the pressure / tectonic movement has increased." What makes me concerned is long-lasting nature of these particular swarms. I haven't seen anything alike before. |

You're right but even if the swarms have gotten more frequent which they have i won't be worried until they stop. "What you perceive to be becomes your reality." :ftwpanda: dapurps |
