I hate My fucking Career/job/whatever you want to call it

I truly feel bad for you.

I am loving life right now. You need to shift your focus onto something that you love. what you focus on grows.

In other words, visualize where you want to be in life and go there.

it is simple, it is a case of mind over matter, if you dont mind it does not matter.

another saying, is change what you can not except, except what you can not change. in other words anything in between will just drive you mad, so just except that, that is just the way it is, as soon as you except it the better you will feel. you have the power not them, they cant make you feel the way you do, you can either choose to feel that way or you can choose not to.

just think about the above statements , and a just accordingly.

OP, if you can get away, maybe take a little mini-vacation and just totally escape for a few days it really does wonders for the mind an spirit. Even camping can renew your inner energy.

Its a shame to think most people still can't embrace the co op farming lifestyle.

thanks, I did get away a few weeks ago and the end of the year provides some time off.

Right now I am just dealing with the fact I have been doing what I was told I need to do and what I thought to be correct. not happy with where I am at, at 30. Still time to change but looking back at all the wrong turns.

To work is a punishment. If it was something good, you wouldn't be paid to do so. What do you think that God made to Adam and Eve as soon as they sinned? Punished them with work.

At my job I sit next to a 650 pound man. He's too fat to wipe his behind, so he stinks up his special fat-guy chair. Apparently he's too fat to get in the shower at home, because he only bathes once a week. Complaints to management don't do any good, they don't have to sit next to the guy. They can't fire him because he's so fat, he's protected as having a handicap.

Yeah, don't bitch about how bad your job is, until you have to work where the smell of your coworkers makes you vomit.

Big difference between the two! A JOB - well, a lot of people hate their jobs. Lots of times your job makes your life miserable, cause you do NOT enjoy being there, dealing with what you are dealing with.

A CAREER, is something YOU HAVE CHOSEN FOR YOURSELF, something YOU ENJOY doing (for the most part), and love what you do (for the most part). It sounds to me like you have a JOB, and NOT a career!

I suggest you look around at a way to move, either to a different department/section of the company, or maybe it's time to move altogether?

I know, whenever I started feeling like you do on my job, it was time to move on! Explore the possibiliity that you could move to a different place. It sounds like it's time.

Staying in a job that stresses you out all day long is very dangerous for your health.

three things:

humans are solely responsible for todays concept of "work". it all comes from materialism and the idea of currency. before the trade routes were even established but that was dominant catalyst. nothing to do with "god" other than the fact this earth has shiny shit and other things of value to people.

work for the human population was originally maintaing a shelter, finding food, reproducing, surviving whatever, etc....

it is my career and a very successful path. I was never "happy" but so much was going on in my 20's I did not stop to think about my future happiness.

Now I feel like the gut punches I deflected for the past 8 years all hit me at once.

just keep the positive thoughts... I was once in a job that sucked all my energy and life out of me. Things do change, and sometimes in the blink of an eye. I never thought I'd be living the life I always dreamed of as a little girl. Keep the faith, never lose hope. The mos important thing is to stay focused on where you want to be in this life and don't let anything or ANYONE derail your plans. I truly believe if we do the right thing in life, we get blessings beyond our wildest dreams.

Its never too late to live and love the life you want. Its all about attitude and gratitude.

hang in there, 30 is still so young. My life took off at about age 35, thats when a lot of things really started to come together for me.

You are still young. Start looking for what you want while you still have a job. Adopt the attitude of gratitude and look for things to be grateful for. This job you have will at least let you look for something you really want to do. And use the Law of Attraction and tell yourself you have the best job/career for you and see what happens. Feel that you have it. It is perfectly fine to bitch and moan about stuff(we all need to do that) but then turn it around to something positive as soon as you can. Things will work out for you.
