After reading this thread I would be damned If was the op I came back here to reply to the rude nay sayers and downright hatefilled folks on here!

I would run off too if I were being verbally insulted and abused by a bunch of tools just for speaking up. There have been plenty of times while watching the sky during the day I have been so transfixed I forgot to snap a picture of something. For example on the 3rd I was watching the sky at 130pm and noticed how beautifully blue it was and not even 10 minutes later I saw 6 planes in the sky chemtrailing the shit out of it until all you could see was a mist of white grey clouds in front of the sun. Did I snap a picture of it for the world to see the truth? Nope.... I sat there and watched it all happen. I did yell at a neighbor to look at it though.... just to make sure I wasnt insane.

I've only read page one so far but I can understand not knowing how to use the camera phone. My Mom doesn't either..AND...my camera on my phone sucks for the most part so wouldn't be able to get a decent picture even if I wanted too. I don't have a smart phone.

I have not "run off". I have real life things to do and cannot sit at the computer forever. Nor did I post bs. I told you what I saw. What you make of it is not my concern. My concern is my family and what to do now. I still have not made up my mind about the painting. I could do it and post and am sure I would receive the same kind of treatment. Considering where I live, which is a military base, and what my husband does for a living I will not post things like that so as to protect his clearances. I am not a "noob" go back to WoW with your gamer speaks. You are the very reason why I would not post anything of a sensitive nature on this website or any other for that matter. So what would happen if you took a picture while living on a military base? Would the MP's come and kick open your door and throw you in the stockade? Or would nothing happen because taking pictures on a military base is not against any regualation. If you are trying to take pictures of motor pools, airfields, etc.. there are signs everywhere that say you can't.
A simple picture taken by a spouse will have ZERO affect on a security clearance.
