By 6:00 a.m. EST Wednesday, more than 675,000 digital signatures appeared on 69 separate secession petitions covering all 50 states, according to a Daily Caller analysis of requests lodged with the White House’s “We the People” online petition system. Petitions from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Tennessee and Texas residents have accrued at least 25,000 signatures, the number the Obama administration says it will reward with a staff review of online proposals. It means there are numerous people that have no idea that the process of secession is not one of request, nor that any petitioning with teeth would actually be towards their own State government in an expression of the people's position within that state of their desire to secede from the established country. In addition; none of these "petitioners" have place an ounce of thought as to how their state will support itself, what their Constitution/ laws would be (these would change as the state became sovereign), the levels/ extent of enforcement, or how they would handle the millions within their state that currently receive money or other benefits from the US Government, whether earned or not, as these would definitely need to be addressed. In a nutshell - these petitions show how large the percentage of the populous is that apparently never attended a basic civics class.
