Thanks Apollo for this interesting information about Sirius. Is this the bright star that so many people think is a UFO at certain times of the year? And that even some airplane pilots have thought was another oncoming plane? I can recognize Orion by the three equidistant stars (the Belt). Where would I look in relation to these three stars to see Sirius?  and 5 stars (to counteract the one-star-bandits!) Hello friend. I can post a graphic, In the northern hemisphere look to the southeast. You should see it shimmering and sparkling many colors of the rainbow.. :siriusorion: Yes, look for him in the Southeast.
