It's starting again!

Petrol bombs were hurled during clashes between supporters of President Mohamed Mursi and his opponents outside his presidential palace, a Reuters witness reported on Wednesday.

The clashes erupted after the Muslim Brotherhood, the group that helped Mursi win a presidential election in June, told its supporters to go to the palace where opponents had gathered to protest against the president's expanded powers.

Brotherhood supporters say they had been shot at during the clashes, where rival sides brawled and threw stones at each other. One protester showed off what he said was a gunshot wound to the leg, with blood pouring from the wound.

Hundreds of Muslim Brotherhood members and supporters of President Mohamed Morsy fled toward the presidential palace, chanting, “Morsy.. Morsy,” while masses of opposition protesters continued their sit-in before th e palace, Al-Masry Al-Youm reported.

Clashes between the two sides have stopped, after protesters against Morsy set up barriers to secure their sit-in against supporters of the president, who were trying to remove their tents.

Clashes erupted earlier between anti-Morsy protesters and Islamists in front of the presidential palace, privately-owned TV channel Al-Nahar has reported.

Hundreds of hardcore fans of Ahly football club, the Ultras Ahlawy, are on their way to the presidential palace in Cairo's Heliopolis, to aid anti-Morsi protesters who were attacked by the president's supporters in the late afternoon hours of Wednesday.

Meanwhile, a number of marches organised by different political groups are also on their way to the presidential palace.

I was really almost sure Morsi would make a statement today that he's retracting the Decree or at least Art. 2&6.

The VP has asked the Opposition Forces this afternoon for Dialogue. The National Salvation Front (Baradei, Moussa and Sabahy etc) are supposed to have a press conference right about now. Nothing yet on local news...just same feeds of the masses of people in side streets.

This needs to stop immediately, and everybody that attacks a peacful protester charged with crime. How dare anyone attacking anybody for having a different opinion.

Wait for it - soon we'll see green lasers and fireworks.

How about answering the calls for political dialogue and trying to solve things by, ummm... lets say, talking and diplomatically? Oh no, its so much better to watch people killing each other and protest and fuck up the country, so someone can come swooping in and safe the day.
