We need to have a love of the truth, so that we are always, continuously connected to God and His Spirit.
"I have hid Thy word in my heart, that I might not sin..."

If you love another human, and that loved one writes you a message or a letter, you are definitely going to read it, or your love for that person is not genuine. You would want to know what a loved one says to you. God has written us a book of instructions.... a love letter. Do you love Him? Then you want to know how He thinks, what is right and what is wrong---that is the measure of rightness and wrongness.
If you don't read the Bible and search it for solutions to the questions in life, then you don't love God.

The bible is a good guideline for some of its teachings but ultimately it is irrelevant when it comes to life after death.

Once you discard your current physical body you will go to your sould group in the primary realm. Once this incarnation is evaluated you will return to another physical life. Wash, rinse, repeat until lessons are solidly ingrained.

Heaven has already been earned by Jesus Christ on the Cross and at the resurrection.
We are saved by grace. Once we are truly saved, we have "the love of the truth so as to be saved." Knowing the Bible doesn't save a person, knowing Jesus does. Then we want to know what Jesus says about everything in life. The Bible is our handbook for how to handle life.
With it, you learn that Jesus is God : He said, "Unless you believe that I am He (God), you will die in your sins."
He is the Creator.
There are people who can recite verse for verse the Scriptures and they are not saved. Without the Holy Spirit's indwelling and the love of the truth, the knowledge that Jesus is God, the Creator, no one can be saved. Without faith it is impossible to please Him, the Bible says. It also says that FAITH COMES BY HEARING AND HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD. If you do not read or hear the Word of God, how can you have faith. Error is bombarding us constantly from the world. If we do not get into the Word of God and counter that, faith could be weakened or destroyed in a hurry. Receive the love of the truth so as to be saved!
