Well in this case it sounds like she went batshit and couldn't be reasoned with, plus she refused to just put away the gun.

Still, unlawful searches are basically the norm now, what a joke. Same thing with no-knock warrants that always result in someone dead.

She is still alive, but it doesnt change the fact that we live in a police state, they had no business on her land, she asked them to leave, and fired two warning shots, she was 100% within her rights, they had no WARRANT !

Where do you get this warning shot bullshit? Look I'll defend your right to own a rifle and gun and whatever you want (within the legal constrictions as placed upon us {like no full autos})but she took two shots and missed him. Yeah ok... there were no words spoken between the two as far as the officer is saying or whatnot... I can't say she didn't get what was coming. She's not a naval vessel firing a warning shot over the bow of another ship... And she certainly could have been aiming into the ground at a 90 degree angle or something... this just straight sounds like bad decision of a crazy lady. (Hence the call to the NATIONAL CRISIS HOTLINE)

"They did what they thought was right" but what about the woman? Where was her 'right'? And they never mention why they were there in the video.

Did you even read the article? HAve you done any research on this subject? Half of the information in this post has nothing backing it up on the internet. THat doesn't mean it's not true but the OP gave no information whatsoever about the additional information he/she had on the situation which more likely than not means this OP was adding details.

Sheriff Bobby Haddock says a deputy responded after the woman called a national crisis hotline. When the deputy arrived, they say she shot at him.

It happened on Blue Springs Road near the Washington and Bay County line around 1:00 p.m. Tuesday. Blue Springs Road was blocked off during the incident and portions of it remain closed.

Exactly. It was PROBABLY (to make sure I don't get reported for stating something less than factual) a "check the welfare" call.

No warrant is needed for a check the welfare call (at least in my state)and people sometimes die when cops go on those calls. My words are ending and the below is "from the internet."

Juan star for you OP . Im all for holding police accountable but when her first action is coming out with a rifle and firing at the officers well then thats an awfully bad footing to start out the interaction
