Agreed that OP misrepresented the facts of the situation.

Now as to rather or not that was with malicious intent or just lack of fact checking is another matter entirely, and one we can't tell from the evidence at hand.

But yes someone should probably change the topic title.

That's pretty much all I was asking but I get snubbed for trying to hold the quality of the posts to the highest level. I guess I can understand if a mod supports a post he doesnt want to be embarrassed but.... oh well w/e

Not to pick on you, but to point out that we all have opinions. OP took time to post a news article that is interesting for many. Regardless of whether or not we agree on the way it was presented, it is news, it was reported, and OP took time to do it and provide a link.

I don't think you're being snubbed. You didn't get any red karma. OP got karma that said, "Screwing with facts... Your a disgrace".

Some of us think that stating an opinion isn't screwing with facts. I don't think it's a stretch to believe that the victim in this article told police to leave her alone....or get off her land.

I don't think this post of yours is high quality, but it doesn't look like anyone reported you or gave you bad karma for it.

Not knowing which posts you're referring to, I can't comment. The ones I looked at under OP's name didn't seem far out. They give me the impression OP is concerned with justice and interested in getting to the bottom of, and offering opinions on conspiracies. But, that's my opinion.

Thanks for sharing where you're coming from on this.

Haven't read all OP's threads. Maybe you pointed out your concerns to OP previously and I missed it and this was the last straw for you. Don't know.

Though I don't agree with reporting it, I'm just as bad as what I'm criticizing, for disrupting the thread. So I'll stop now. 8)
