User ID: 13043121 United States 12/05/2012 06:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My husband and I believe that more 'full time' workers will be reduced to 'part time' before 2013 is over in order to head off the obamacare 'tax'. Quoting: tandym Yes they will. And then Obama will declare "part time" is really more akin to "full time" and magically the unemployment rate will go down. I'm not even joking. . ... FULL time is now 30 hours ... . ... used to be 40 ... . Where and with full benefits? Before I retired, I worked 30 hours/wk officially, although it usually ended up being closer to 40 because of all the extra work caused by "consolidating" jobs. That extra 10 was just a freebie, I even got the Union involved and the school said that my position had always been a three-quarter-time position and that it wasn't going to change, and that if I couldn't get all the work done in 30 hours then there was something wrong with ME. My position was called "3/4 time", and I got 3/4 benefits too.
