The way I see it is that people don't trust the U.N. Okay, but they also recognize that because America sends Israel billions, they are able to buy more weapons than they would otherwise from American companies. America is one of the main players in the U.N. So, perhaps the reasoning for people wanting the U.N. to participate in disestablishing the force the Israelis are pushing upon the Palestinians is because the politically organized in the U.S.A. who push for the strengthening of Israel from the U.S.A. have an advantage to those in Palestine who have no organized force that can compete in the United Nations. They, literally, have no way of defending themselves.
