fyi, I am into aromatherapy so of course my first thought about this thread was that you wanted to literally extract it and make an essential oil.
But now I wonder what would happen if you used this method with other things that are highly nutritious / probiotic, etc... would the butter method work with them too?
Quoting: tandym It'll work on anything that is fat-soluble so you might need to research the chemistry of what you're trying to extract. Another extraction method is to use a solvent and a separator funnel - thats how I extract pure caffeine from coffee.
