There's enough evidence all over the internet to show that Nibiru exists. Just not any evidence that it will be passing by between the 21st and 23rd. It must travel awfully fast if that's the case....

Looks like the constellation Leo, but it is certainly not the Orion nebula, I went and found both of them and they aren't even close to each other, nor do they look the same, so it seems you are up to something.

Oh I'm sure whoever's behind it thinks they're fully justified in doing so.

And once again you demonstrate that you do not know what an amateur astronomer is. A serious amateur astronomer is someone who does actual astronomy because they love doing it, real astronomy is not the same as playing WWT jockey on youtube and claiming every bright object in infrared that you personally can't identify is "nibiru." Sure there is a varying degree of skill between amateur astronomers, but they all share one thing in common; they all engage in real astronomy. A serious amateur astronomer would know how to look up an object based on its coordinates, whereas youtube "amateur astronomers" such as this couldn't find their own ass with both hands.

And for what it's worth, I did get a chuckle out of your image, just thought it was odd you'd go to the trouble of making it. That's all. It also inspired me...

Sorry, you misunderstand my meaning. I was simply demonstrating that being able to image in infrared is not a problem for many amateur astronomers. You're right, that picture is not of CW Leonis. It's really just another star, so it doesn't look all that impressive in my scope.

Yes, the constellation is indeed Leo. They're actually looking at a star known as CW Leonis. It's a well-studied infrared luminous carbon star - there have been about 1,746 scientific papers that have studied or mentioned this star since it was discovered in 1969. It's about 400-500 light years away.

Quite right. My knowledge and skill at astronomy and a desire to do it for the fun of it makes me an amateur astronomer. Nothing more, nothing less. And lots of people know that about me in real life. Some even tap me for help.
