The greatest fallacy of modern society is that tremendously overvalue human life, and that on a purely emotional basis. I took a step back, looked at the situation with the analytic capacity I could muster up and came to the conclusion that a substantial depopulation would make for a more worthwhile existence for the remainder of humankind. Trimming the fat and quality over quantity, so to speak. Any resentment I might harbor for my fellow humans did not factor into the equation.

And again, the 'Start yourself then' argument does not work as I, at best would be beneficial to the cause and at worst at least not constitute an obstacle through working against it. If anything, starting with myself would be illogical and a waste. If there's a need to afterwards to even the numbers or something, I'll be more than glad to subject myself to their judgement.

It's a hypothetical pipe dream anyhow, any really efficient, more proactive way would encounter unmeasurable resistance and the more subtle and passive methods they're currently employing will only see first results in a few decades.
