Religions today are no different than the religions of 2000 years ago when people though the Sun was a god, the Moon was a god, the wind was a god, etc. etc.
Religion, regardless of the actual religion, is nothing but fantasy.
I do not see how stories of Ra, Zeus, or Poseidon are any different than Jesus, Moses, or Muhammad.
It is all relative to the time periods.
In the year 4000 A.D., it is very possible that human beings will look back on Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism the same way we mock and abstractly disavow Greek mythology (religion) and Egyptian mythology (religion).
