Dark Sky Before The Sunset
In other words the Sun sets before as it should be.

I've just finished to read some witnesses relative to this fact.

Do you noticed it as well?

if yes, don't forget to post your location.

This below is just one of them:

Re: Dark Sky Before The Sunset
...just searching a little on the web and I've find a series of photos entitled

Dark Sky Before Sunset -untouched-

here:

[link to ioanniscleary.deviantart.com]

ok that's seems more freaky than the topic itself when was started (a lot and seems to be fakery stuff with all those images), BUT that's it.

PS: ununtouched means NO photoshopped/elaborated.

Anyway the point is that people are noticing dark sky before the official sunset time in these days.

SO the question is: are you noticing that as well in your location?

Re: Dark Sky Before The Sunset
I usually drive on my Golf Cart to my sons house at 5:00 and come back at about 5:45 before it gets too dark here in Florida.

Yesterday, i drove up to his house and noticed it was getting dark earlier so i left right away. The Golf Cartr doesnt have working lights.

So yes, in fact its been that way for a couple of days now.

I don't know if its Earthshattering, but its happening. Usually by December the days start to get a little bit longer, dont they?

Hi OP I noticed too I'm in California. I noticed this past week or so.
"Only one candle left to burn now, before the darkness comes"

"Happiness consumes itself like a flame. It cannot burn for ever, it must go out, and the presentiment of its end destroys it at its very peak."

Yesterday it seemed the sun was very low on southern horizon ALL DAY.. and had a sunset type hue as well ALL DAY. Odd day indeed. Yes some days it gets dark at 4 30 and others its 5 30. One day last week it was just after 3pm and it was like sunset dark. Puzzled but not shocked in Ontario.

Pretty much all the people I have to do with have noticed this.
Living in northern Germany where it's normal that winter days are short, but when people confuse 3:30pm with 5:30pm because of the darkness, something is not alright.

On the other hand it seems to me that the sun rises earlier than it usually does in winter. scratching

Do you think its anything? Or are we just more aware and paying attention to things we didn't used to before?

In your latitude the sun should rises @ 8.23 AM and sets @ 16.01 PM

add 25 max minutes of skylight till it rises and after it sets

Re: Dark Sky Before The Sunset
The point the OP made was, specifically, DARK while the sun was still up in the sky.

Those photos you posted, OP, were impressive: clouds dark underneath, light above, but the sky itself was dark WHEN the Sun was high in the sky~
