Our weapons more modern, then US weapons. Simple Russia not use weapons against USA and so in wild west not know about russian weapons what load in our boats.

Patriots don't have "codes" you can send to someone. They use Mode 4 rotating code sets which change every 15 minutes and need a re-load every 24 hours.

NATO uses Mode 2 IFF, which is less secure but still rotates.

Syria has zero chance of getting either set of codes or using them in any meaningful way.

Having the code and violating a no fly box still = launch. We witnessed in Desert Storm when PATRIOTS shot down friendly returning fighter bombers. (They were flying over the acceptable speed in their flight corridors and got shot down even WITH mode-4 IFF).

Patriots can reach a LONG way...a lot longer than some people think. I'd say no Syrian planes within at LEAST 80km from a battery, which means NATO is setting up a rather large no-fly zone in Northern Syria.


This means Turkey could effectivly put a no-fly zone over Aleppo, Idlib, Lattakia, maybe even Hassake and Ragga. A big blow to the Syrian air-force.

I've been on your boats Russia, they are lucky not to sink at port. The fire control = none. They are floating tombs.

This is why your "fleet" travels with tugs...they break down so often that they need to be towed.

You was in USA boats, not russian. I can say you it, so I himself was born in Severomorsk and was near in all types our boats during 1990-early 2000 years. And in few foreign submarines what was in visit Severomorsk.

You say that FC our boats is none. So would be very interesting for you see really war starts our weaps.

Tugs and tankers is floating support ships for squadrons. In USN all like in Russian navy. Simple our fleet not have large bases for dislocation support ships. USN have this bases and use tankers and tugs from this bases and not need travels with from bases.

The superior Iskander can travel at hypersonic speed of over 1.3 miles per second (Mach 6-7) and has a range of over 280 miles with pinpoint accuracy of destroying targets with its 1,500-pound warhead, a nightmare for any missile defense system.
