IT'S ME lol...I've been messing with Orion for a while now. Tonight I even made it laugh with Tintin'S Castophiore. "Margueritte, est-ce toi si c'est toi? Réponds-moi viiiiiite!" And then I spotted my casual shooting star.

Not like THE moon which has always been a staple of THE night has problems and never did before in their lifetimes.

Even as a child back in the 1980's, I can remember seeing the moon during the day sometimes. It's a myth that the moon in only present in the sky at night.

The problem is that most people don't pay any attention to such things until someone tricks them by pointing out the divergence from the myth, such as:
- the Sun is rising further south than normal (the Sun will continue to rise further south until the Winter Solstice, at which point it will start moving north until the Summer Solstice)

- the moon disappears (the moon is not always visible at night. sometimes its up during the day)

- Orion is not in the right position. Orion's position, like ALL of the space objects in our sky, will change position throughout the course of the year. This is because our planet rotates on a tilted axis and orbits around the sun - our perspective is constantly changing, but most people aren't aware enough to notice that ... they're too busy freaking out to take the time to understand WHY.

Not only that, the SUN is in the wrong place too.

The LORD is revealing Himself to many people at this very moment. When I was a toddler I asked my mom how come God doesn't talk to people anymore like He did in the bible. The answer was because back then God talked to people but now he doesn't.

Well wouldn't you know just barely the other night God spoke to me? And it wasn't some sort of 'oh maybe this is the creator or an entity' ..no.. this was THE LORD because He TOLD ME HE IS TO BE CALLED LORD OR THE LORD. Now this happened the moment I rebuked the Devil in the name of God, while debating the concept of crime (how the devil is behind the wheel when people commit crime - lets face it who would rape old ladys right? One would have to be out of their mind right? Well they were for a few moments, just like if you are trying to drive on the freeway and think at the same time - do you see the car in front of you in that moment??)

So to the OP, you already know Orion is in the wrong place. My cousin is telling me the Sun is in the wrong place. The LORD told me I need to bring people to Him. And reports here are also coming from forum members that The LORD is telling them he is Pounding on the Door to their hearts, as the time is near.

Lots of people think Bible is buy bull, and Jesus is Gees us. But I say better safe than sorry, as I am a witness myself, with my own testimony available in these forums.

Your video proves to validate that things are not as they appear or as they should - let my writings above also prove the same. We don't know if there will be a pole shift, nuclear war or what not, but no worry if you're in Christ.

Not making a video. Somethings not adding up on the axial rotation measurement (and you all thought I was a "shill" - I'm honest, even when it's very likely nothing at all). Tonight I took a shortcut and just used my SLR with telephoto lens on a tripod rather than hauling out the whole telescope. I also only had a few minutes of a gap between clouds and then it was clouded up completely. But something about this picture I took isn't adding up...

I'm consistently coming back to a distance of about 35 arcminutes for Polaris from the north celestial pole. That ain't right. It should be just shy of 41 arcminutes. Now, I've never calibrated this lens astrometrically before tonight, but I used the Polaris image itself as well as an earlier image I shot a few months back and they both resulted in about the same image scale of about 8.2 arcseconds per pixel at the resolution I'm using for analysis. Maybe I screwed my math up somewhere along the way, I'm running on very little sleep and I need to get some now if I'm every going to.

For the sake of sanity in the thread and so that people don't start killing themselves before I can solve this mystery, I've never tried to use my SLR camera by itself for this particular measurement before (I've always used my telescopes with the SLR catching the light at prime focus) and the 300mm telephoto lens I have is rather heavy. I'm thinking something settled or flexed on my camera tripod over the 8 minute exposure, causing the star trails to be artificially shifted by about 6 arcminutes (and for what it's worth, that's a small angle, one fifth the diameter of the moon's disc, it's not something Bubba in his trailer is going to notice just by casually looking and comparing by eye to a mountain range).

The telescopes I normally use are much beefier and sturdier. I'll repeat the measurement telescopically tomorrow. If telescopic measurement confirms it... I'll probably take a sniper bullet in the head because there's no way that kind of change could be kept secret without a mass assassination of every person like me.

I was busy getting stuff out of my car and didn't look up, but told her it was right over Mrs.-----'s house.

Her answer was that it wasn't.

So I looked, expecting to point it out, but she was right--it wasn't there.
It was quite a bit further north and higher up than it was just a couple of nights before when my son and I were looking at it. I had to really look to find it.

I don't know how it could've moved that far so fast, but I'm telling you exactly what happened.

my husband & I have noticed the sun setting in a different place from where we've watched it go down for 20 years.

It's probably gonna take a while. When he makes a video, he spends a good amount of time on it.

You all missed it. It's the satellites leaving the solar system. They're pushing the outermost layer of our solar system out of round and causing distortions. Anybody should have caught that.

But, more seriously, there were a lot of negative attacks against the op. If the dude says a star is out of its place, it either is out of place or it is not. From his point of view it might have at least looked out of place.

On that note, I too have noticed that "Orion" is no longer rising off the eve of my house as it used too. It's now rising over my tree in the yard which is strange. Orion hasn't moved however. So something about my axial alignment has shifted. Or the ground under me has slightly swiveled. It's impossible for Orion to have moved. It's not impossible for me to have shifted ever-so slightly some degrees.

However the guy seems telling the true, however he forgot to say that he always saw Orion rising on that place in that winter season this because it can moves a bit due to earth's axis inclination (not because everyday shilltards field rotation BS).

You know, even the sun change up to 15 degrees from East to South in winter time (rise) and up to 15 degrees from West to North in Summer time (set).

Anyway the sideway moon is a fact and its not normal at all.
