The Elites control our media and want everyone to believe these rebels are just freedom fighters and Assad is the only bad guy of the bunch. Assad may be a dictator but the people were free to practice their desired religion and enjoyed many other freedoms. All the media is like this not just FOX.In my opinion MSNBC is the worst.

Right before US invaded Iraq, either FOX or CNN showed a horrific video of a poor dog, it looked like a golden retreiver, behind a glass well and it showed some kind of poison gas misting in there. I had to leave the room because the dog was about to go into convulsions and die.

Our media passed it off as one of Saddam's Dr. Evil's experiments, but it appeared very old, like it was from the 1950s or so.

I suspect it was on old US Army stock film of testing poison gases on dogs that they passed off as something from Iraq.

I don't understand why the lesser threads are pinned but this is not. Topics like this shouldn't be so easily unpinned. This is an imminent event here. We could easily be looking at days or even hours. They are ready to go in and can do so at any moment. I don't think people realize the importance of this, Syria war could easily turn into WW3.

Why is the US intel telling us Sarin is in the shells? How do they know that? Ghadafi also had chem weapons and assuming they were taken/given to the Al Queda alphabet groups from the clearing house Benghazi, then I guess the CIA would know exactly when the gas was put into shells.

Yes they are all bad and it's frustrating because they don't say much, but when they do most of it is fiction.

Syria had been a very quiet and safe country for some time, I almost went there in the 90s when I lived in Europe. It was a popular tourist destination and one of the safer countries in the region to visit.

I remember when Assad Sr. died, and Bashar the gentle eye doctor reluctantly inherited his father's position. They said Assad Sr.'s advisors stuck around though to guide Bashar in hia new role.

Once it does I assume it will be pinned.

they have SS-N-2 - SS-C-5 / SS-N-26 (P-800) Yakhont, C-802 Noor, SSC-3 Styx and SS-C-1B Sepal anti ship missiles. Ranges 40km+.

I think what has to be remembered here is that Assad isn't stupid And he sure as hell wouldn't launch anything out to sea without extreme provocation, it would be playing right into the hands of the enemies. The only time I can see him giving the go a head for any assault of this Magnitude would be if he Knew of indefinite assault by Outside forces Overtly.

This also cancels out intentional strikes on Turkey and Israel.
