How many weeks sick leave can you get every year and still keep your job.

In a year, I accrue approximately 2.6 weeks of sick leave which, incidentally, I am not inclined to use as they count toward years of service for retirement.

The managers can be clueless. The way the system functions does not permit a lot of variance or creativity in either monitoring or correcting behaviors.

I do not see the ass-kissing/promotion bit, but I'm not high enough up the ladder to see many "appointed" positions or have much inside knowledge of those situations. At my level, being capable will actually get you a promotion--assuming your manager's not clueless.

I certainly have no qualms with the department for which I work. It functions fairly well (as well as it can) within the confines our lawmakers set forth for it. And it is, as a whole, becoming more conscious of not doing stupid shit.

Everyone knows about the NWO. You don't have to work for the federal government to have that knowledge, do you?

We are paying me what amounts to barely a living wage at this point.

My supervisor, on the other hand, is compensated on a scale that is not commensurate with the duties of the position.

I've not been privy to any government secrets. The only exception to that is that I don't like to see my tax dollars wasted when they don't have to be. Within the confines of the laws that govern my job, I refuse to waste my tax dollars. I also point out to my co-workers when they are wasting my tax dollars.

I do know who I work for. I answered regarding the department for which I work as opposed to the administration.

While I don't see what relevance my feelings toward the Obama Administration may have to, uh, anything, I'll tell you that I like it a hell of a lot better than the Bush Administration.

I guarantee my job and department are far more vital than the ones with glamous-sounding names. Part of our job is to avert catastrophe but not the kind you might imagine.
