Am quitting starting Jan 1, 2013.

Was 16 years off the smokes. Been 5 years on. Ready to let them go. I really enjoyed smoking - especially since they were organic - tobacco only. Even so, the first smoke of the day leaves me feeling tired and my breath is not as strong as it could be. It's time to let go and breathe again...

Why not quit them now. New years revolution never worked for me when i tried quitting. Quitting now will increase your chances quite a bit.

quit long time ago. I do not have a problem w/smokers, does not bother me 2 b around someone who smokes. The thing I don't like about it is all the chemicals. Also read that cigarettes contain over 15% sugar. Countries that do not sugar cure cigarettes have almost no lung cancer, also sugar makes them more addictive.

So if u can smoke chemical free, lite in sugar, it's most likely not so bad for u.

May I, respectfully, ask how many pharmaceuticals you're taking?

Statins are bullshit and squirrel you up and make for erectile dysfunction (not that I actually know you are a man) and blood pressure meds - oh my!

These things are easily controlled with diet and some Niacin. Trust me, my dad-in-law had a heart attack and is almost free of pharms. He finally listened to us - 70+ and still jogging miles.

The medical business is just that - a business - they need you to stay sick or else, how would they exist?

I am not on any meds. Eat mostly raw organic. I'm super healthy except for my lungs. Can't breathe. They have tried to put me on spiriva but I refuse to take it. I hear it dosen't really help in the long run anyway.

Its all about the e-cigs. For real, i love them. I havent smoked a cigarette in years but i vape like a chimney. Best way to get my nic fix

I roll my own at home and use my BLU e-cigg everywhere else. This way I don't have to deal with any dirty looks from the PC-Fucktard crowd.

Criss Cross tobacco and Zen tubes for me! I'm not against commercial cigs it's just so much cheaper. They put vanilla and other flavors to smooth the bitterness in comercials but there is nothing like a really fresh tobacco cig rolled yourself!!

Growing your own isn't illegal and it gives you confidence knowing what's in it. You have to fight some sphinx moths, but you can grow it most anywhere, easily, cheaply, but it does require care and aging. About 100 plants will last your until the next growing season, and after you plant the first year, you will never have to worry about buying seeds again since they produce so many...not to mention the type you just grew is tempered to your climate. Pretty easy and the cigs do taste a LOT different than what you buy. Learn how to do it yourself and stop paying taxes.

www.seedman.com sells seeds. I got a variety and now have a good set of seeds from my plants.

I tried rolling my own and they all blow up on me. I can't get the technique down with the slider. :<

Is anyone here growing their own tobacco? Its easy to grow. Like pot, curing can be tricky, but with practice your homegrown can rival the finest imported leaf. For much cheaper than you can buy it.

I grew tobacco commercially for 13 years, its really no harder than growing tomatoes. The strain names are really nifty:

Another plus to growing tobacco if you are growing for seed...the blooms smell lovely. Tobacco flower is a delightful scent which is still used in some perfume products

I am a smoker, roll my own also, and enjoy that first cigarette with my morning cup of coffee after walking the dogs. Not everyone is equal and no one knows what is coming down the pike but I am the only smoker in my extended family and have to remember to slow down when walking with other members of my family who cannot keep up and have numerous medical conditions and younger than myself.

anyone know of a good organic/chemical free baccy available in the uk? i smoke golden virginia, gold leaf, cutters choice etc and ive tried some herbal ones like greengo and honeyrose, i really just like somethin to mix up with the green you know
