Brazilian Star Architect Oscar Niemeyer Has Died

All these prominent South American people seem to have German names.

Oscar Niemeyer was part of the multinational team of leading architects who projected the headquarters of the United Nations in New York City:

Someone who could survive almost 105 years, could have survived one or two more years.

The guy survived two World Wars, the rise and fall of communism, the 911 attacks, Iraq War, but could not survive 2012?
