Agree about the teeth--------------------disagree with the rest. One of my best friends is a transplanted Brit who is now an American citizen and lives and plans to be buried here with her now-deceased American husband.

She is not arrogant or inbred or even toothless (although some English people are).

FWIW, Scottish people can also be technically classed as British, they're just not English (which refers to those from England).

British refers to those people who are from Great Britain, i.e. the English, Welsh, and Scottish.

It's fair to say there is some anomosity between English and Scottish people, but probably for the most part no different to that of any other two nations that share a border and have ancient history.

OP, you paint with broad brushstrokes. You are most definitely right about many British people, but certainly not all, and what you posted could be applicable to people from any nation on this planet to a degree, your own included.
