Hoover may've written that (at least we think he did; a lot of his papers were ghost written) but in full context he's referring to Communism, not to any NWO or Illuminati stuff. So the quote's real but it isn't talking about what you think it's talking about. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1277549 /... Which ones? The JFK quote is outright bogus because he didn't deliver any speech at Columbia 10 days before his assassination. The Rockefeller quote COULD be true, but I'm going to say it's 99% likely to be false given that there's no sources for it except old conspiracy writings from the 1990s. There's no independent records of him saying such a thing. I couldn't find anything, good or bad, about the Gonzalez quote. And as far as I can tell, the Larry McDonald one appears to be legit, but to be honest, I haven't really dug into it. |

Once again, just like with Hoover, context is important. In his speech, Wilson was talking about corporate monopolies and trusts which had a large sphere of influence. Were they problematic and conspiratorial? Certainly. But they were also not very secretive, either. So, yes, Wilson was referring to a coalition of business interests who wielded quite a lot of power and influence at the time, but the connection to any NWO scheme is tenuous. |
