I dont know. Does it have something to do with a serpent talking to eve?

The abomination of desolation is satan aka serpent. continual sacrifices, a wild guess are satans victims.

and the strength be trodden under foot will be satan defeated.

Thanks rose for replying but no, the "continual sacrifice" is the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. And confected in every Mass, the most Holy Eucharist. The "abomination of desolation" is the anti-Christ's attempt to abolish the Eucharist.

I believe you are 100 percent correct. If you think about it and you are intellectually honest, you would agree that there is no other "sacrifice" in the world today or ever that goes on continually other than the sacrifice of the Catholic Mass.

Too bad God never wanted sacrifice; this transubstantiation you guys participate in is straight from the pits of hell.

Malachi 1:11 For from the rising of the sun even to its setting, My name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense is going to be offered to My name, and a grain offering that is pure; for My name will be great among the nations, says the LORD of hosts.

And foreigners who bind themselves to the LORD to serve him, to love the name of the LORD, and to worship him, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant-- these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations. Isaiah 56:7

... And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me. Luke 22:19
