Based on research into the Mayan Calandar that the world will enter a pole shift and enter 3 days of darkness on winter solstice 21st December 2012. The Mayan prophecies did not state it was the " end of the world " but the end of a cycle and i was fascinated by this knowledge, which led me to create this film in 2007.

Nothing will happen. 2012 is a smokescreen so people won't anticipate what comes shortly after.

This video is Not about the alignment of the Earth, Sun, and the center of our galaxy. I made this video because several times a night people would ask me about the planetary alignment that was supposedly happening 12/21/2012. Since I made this video and 12/21/2012 gets nearer, I notice that less people are asking that question. Now the story seems to have changed to 12/21/2012 being an alignment of Earth, the Sun, and the Center of our galaxy which some are mistakenly referring to as the Dark Rift. This alignment does occur on 12/21/2012, but it also occurs on that date, every year. So nothing special about this year. I guess I need to make whole 'nother video for that claim.

I don't think the Mayan's predicted an apocalyptic end of the world. It's simply the end of an era/age and the beginning of a new era/age.

12-21-12 will come and pass, it's actually 21-21-21 that you have to worry about.

All I know is that if nothing happens whatsoever a multitude of desperate and unhappy people waiting for something miraculous are going to be very upset.

That worries me.

What's a good doom thread without lots of videos? The best thing about all of this is we only have a few weeks left to guess whose on target and who is hype.

My theory. CERN fires up the LHC and accidentally creates a "receiver" for time machines. The reason we have not seen any time travelers from the future yet is because they can only travel backward to a time when time machines have been discovered.

It (pole shift/worldwide earthquake/rapture/beginning of tribulation) will more likely happen this Friday-Saturday December 7-8 which is Kislev 24 on the jewish calendar.
