Realize this, nothing will happen. Life will go on, basically just as it did before.
Politicians will fight, economic collapse will always loom over the horizon. Don't you realize that it's just mind control?

I predict popular media will joke about 12-21 for about a week and then make us get back to the "seriousness" of our world with some new doomy financial news. Possible next buzz expression to spread doom?? Ill go with "Monetary Meltdown". Also, we are due for a mass shooting and a violent racially motivated attack soon. The black man pushing the Asian dude on the subway tracks or the Florida face eater doesn't grab the public's attention the same way that a good ol' white hurting black man story does. There you have it. Nothing on the 21st but a week later we can expect the "serious news" to hit us real good! If they fail with this opportunity to herd the masses now that they have bought into something but not knowing WHAT, they cant succeed in herding them anymore. The whole thing fizzles out and it all becomes a joke from here on. Now is their time to take advantage of the masses and herd them in a direction they want. If they loose it, that's it for them.
