Any Secession movement will be crushed. (They have the numbers) Mexicans & Blacks will side with the Libs because they love the hand outs...

They have no clue where the money comes from for the hand outs (Or don't care) Just gimme gimme.

Everyone in the world should support this movement.

1. The leftist socialists (Democrats) will get rid of a large state that always votes against them, allowing them to consolidate even more power in the federal government to terrorize the rest of American people to their heart's content.

2. The federal government will lose a state that receives more federal money than taxes collected, thereby saving money. This is according to every Democrat talking point. For the federal government, Texas is a financial net loss.

3. The federal government will be downsized, weakening its ability to wage war and coerce and manipulate the rest of the world. That's what the rest of the world always asks for... a weaker America.

4. It might start a renaissance of freedom.

One can hope. We know it works...

Why do you want Texas to remain in the Union? What good does it provide for you or anyone anywhere in the rest of the world?

When Texas goes, they need to take Oklahoma, the Dakotas, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Arizona and WA/OR/CA east of the Pacific Crest. Colorado and NM would likely join as well, or become Aztlan.

The only drawback to living in Idaho now is I'm stuck in the same nation as New England and Kalifornia.

It doesn't appear the economy would be an issue for Texas; Houston's economy ranked best in country.

The economy would not be an issue for any nation or state that is forced to use a debt backed currency that is emitted at near infinite amounts, like the current federal reserve does.

Also, not being stuck with a huge financial sector that does nothing but skim money from the rest of the economy through monetary transactions would free up a massive amount of productivity. Currently the financial "industry" takes up 30% of the United States economy. That is a HUGE drag on the whole economy. It would be like walking around with a 60 lbs. dumbbell around your neck all day and night.
