The British Monarchy - An example to all of us

Recent reports show that far from costing the United Kingdom money, Her Majesty the Queen actually brings in 10 million pounds a year in revenue.

So, that got me thinking - Instead of trying to abolish the Monarchy, why doesn't the British Government turn all of the unemployed people into monarchs, thus creating a net income for the country of in excess of 10,000 billion pounds annually.

That's a tax free windfall of 170,000 pounds for every man, woman and child in the country.
