you need to research chiromancy(aka palmistry)
theres many meanings for triangles but these generally refer to the lines on the palm making triangles.
Id suggest you also look at "moleosophy" which is the art of reading birthmarks/moles etc by shape and placement.

A soul reader once told me that birthmarks are a marker that one suffered physical violence in a past life, something like a remnant/reminder. We also have a funny superstition here that says people with birthmarks on their bottoms are unlucky especially in terms of rain and travel.

This strikes me as odd.. Because I have a birthmark on my ass.

Quite often I have been rained on. Now I know rain is a natural thing to happen... But there would be no sign of rain out and i'd go about my day.. And on my way home (i walk everywhere) it's started raining.

And I mean heavy, brutal rain.

I've had lightning strike so close to my house i saw the bright flash.

Every time i have travelled/gone on holiday it's been a nightmare.

Lost luggage, trains/whatever running late.. I don't bother to travel now.

Oddly enough I have never connected any of this until now.. And i've always put it down to just bad luck.

I feel bad that this is funny to me! No offense, ok? It's just you described exactly our superstition! Sometimes you'll see a group of kids who encounter that situation will argue with each other over who has a birthmark on his bottom and it's funny because it turns into a real argument. The term is "May balat sa pwet"(With birthmark on bottom). If it's a nice day and a group decides to spend it outdoors and it suddenly rains, someone will ask who has "balat sa pwet" or on a trip and something gets lost usually at the very start or at the very end, same thing! It's actually happened to me on a trip and someone in our group had one and poor guy felt so guilty because our trip was ruined by a freak storm! I will look around to see if there is an "antidote" for your situation. it won't hurt, right?
