People are buying beer and candy with foodstamps

Our country is doomed.I don't understand why the govt. wouldn`t at least make sure food stamps are used for necessities and not frivolous bs. I`m all about helping people but this isn`t helping, this is creating an entitlement society where people have no concept of working hard to earn there keep.I thought we were in a desperate fiscal crisis!Why are we just flushing money like it grows on trees? I heard were advertising food stamps in Mexico encouraging people to come up and get free food stamps.WHAT?! This is either a blind attempt to get more democratic voters up here to cement liberal control by dangling benefits, or it`s a blatant attempt to weaken this country by causing another even worse,great depression.Either way we`re screwed. I feel like throwing up!

When my friend was homeless, I saw what her friends were doing. They would work construction day jobs for cash, then say they were unemployed to get those benefits. Then they would take their foodstamps and buy meat, like steaks and franks, then go to the park on the weekend and sell the meat for 1/2 price to the people there. Then they would take the cash they got and would buy cigs, beer, and crack. This took place in Austin, Texas

But...it probably happens everywhere. I was in line at a Big!Lots up here in Idaho (buying a replacement case for the cell phone) and a couple of Amerifats were in front of me, buying $22 in fucking candy on their EBT.

$22. I could eat for a week, maybe 10 days, on that amount of money. And eat well.
