Dr. Astro, assuming you get the weather you're looking for, when do you think you will let us know the results? I'm just curious as to when I should check back on this.

Astro is doing it the right way.

He has seen an anomoly.
He is explaining how he saw it.
He has explained how people with similar equipment can duplicate his measurement.
He is now working on confirming the measurement with equipment designed to do so.

These are steps that the usual jump-to-conclusions Suntards and Moontards never take themselves. And if he finds that the anomoly was due to the equipment he was using, and that there isn't really an anomoly at all, they will all merely start yelling 'shill' once again.

SO MUCH FOR ALL THOSE ASTRONOMY SITES AND THE DATA THEY PROVIDE. bET THEIR NOT SHOWING THIS. Of course they are not. They show everything as normal. Make the changes and still say shit is normal. Update more shit as normal.

Anybody using their data to prove or unprove anything is stupid.

Raw data thats uncontaminated is the only way to know for sure whats up. Anybody that trusts any of those sites who's data is provide by the Navy/Government is a sheep. All the sites. ALL OF THEM are given the information from the GOVERNMENT. ITS TRUE. GO CHECK IT OUT YOURSELF. ITS TRUE.

People get offended with Astro because he isn't confirming THEIR particular bias. Watch them get offended again when he confirms these errors, and that the skies are acting predictably.

You are jumping to conclusions yourself.

Why don't you take your own advice and wait for Dr. Astro to confirm whether or not this is due to an error in the telescope or not before saying they ARE errors?

You can scoff at us "tards" then if found to be an error. OPtheriwse, wait like the rest of us.

6 arcminutes = 1/10th of a degree. There are 360 degrees in a circle.

6 arcminutes is 1/10th of 1/360th of a circle.

This translates to about 6 miles of earth distance. So -- the earth has been jimmied about 6 miles off of where it should be, eh?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2886

Where did you get any confirmation of that? Oh... you didn't.
 Quoting: Menow 18943200

Looks like 3rd grade math. Roughly 25,000miles/360degrees=69? 69miles/60minutes= 1.1? 1.1miles x 6 minutes= 6 arcminutes?

I know the sky is tracking normally because it was tracking normally. Astro will see this for himself (weather permitting) and then the "tards" will scream that he's been paid off or is shilling again rather than accept what he's discovered.

However, if his instruments prove to be alright and it is an anomaly, THEN what?

Assuming that Polaris is off by 6 degrees - what does that mean for us here on Earth in Layman's terms?

6 arc-minutes, not 6 degrees. That 1/10th of a Degree or 0.1 Degree not 6 Degrees.

This is only gonna end ONE way.... The update is quite obviously going to be...

"I re-checked it and everything is fine folks... my bad, sorry"

Why? Well its either...

a) going to be a genuine error on Astro's part, and he will report this tomorrow. No doubt, with an overly complicated explanation as to what tiny miscalculation led to it, and albeit will be a wonderfully and incredibly accurate account of the technical error, will go right over most of our heads (including mine).

b) he was right, but what he has reported so far on the internet (on this no doubt government monitored site) will have rung every possible key-word alarm bell in Langley and he will either be 'spoken too' or 'removed entirely' before said re-check can be performed, so whoever posts the update tomorrow will say... you guessed it... "I re-checked it and everything is fine folks... my bad, sorry".

Either way I'd put money on no "HOLY CRAP COATED BANANA BALLS I CHECKED WITH A MUFFA FUKKIN KING OF TELESCOPES AND WE'RE ALL MEGA MEGA MEGA FUKKED DUDES.... RUUUNNNNNNNN!" update coming tomorrow folks.

Sorry to spoil the party.
