The commentary of that verse says: and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; that is, the punishment of transgression, which, like a talent of lead, in Zechariah 5:8 shall crush it, and the inhabitants of it, to pieces: and it shall fall, and not rise again; in the form it now is; for there will be new heavens and a new earth, in which the righteous, who will share the first resurrection, will dwell; for as for the first earth, or present one, it shall pass away, and no place be found for it, Revelation 20:11. |

I found Polaris to be 835.7 pixels from the north celestial pole: [link to i319.photobucket.com] Previous astrometric calibration with this telescope and camera show that it has a resolution of 2.93 arcseconds per pixel: [link to www.flickr.com] Given that Polaris' declination after accounting for precession is 89d 19' 09.8", it should have been 2,450.2 arcseconds from the north celestial pole. 835.7*2.93 = 2448.601 for a difference of 1.599, less than the resolution of this telescope/camera combo and meaning that the NCP was exactly where it should have been in the image (I used my widefield refractor; had I used the main telescope Polaris would have been outside of the field of view and I would have had to measure off something else, leaving a question as to whether or not Polaris itself had mysteriously warped somewhere else). | Anonymous Coward User ID: 20541213 12/07/2012 02:48 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Is prophecy coming true? A visionary died last year, Father Gobbi of the Marian Movement of Priests. Father Iannuzzi's comments. Father Iannuzzi is an American. Here is some wonderful news, a yes from the Vatican a few days ago, after Father Iannuzzi presented a study of the mystic Luisa Piccarreta's writings. The Heavenly messages controversial, misunderstood for years. What I would like to know, I am a lay person, is a "pole shift" the same as the earth being "knocked of its axis?" + + + From one of the very few theologians of eschatology (the last things), an exorcist who worked under Fr. Amorth, and the only Vatican approved theologian with permission to write on Luisa Piccarreta and her Divine Will writings (with the proper interpretation) while her cause is being studied in Rome. A very touching tribute to Fr. Gobbi from Father Joseph Iannuzzi, an Official Exorcist - June 29th, 2011 "I, Rev. Joseph Leo Iannuzzi, affirm that Fr. Steffano Gobbi is and was a true locutionist and a messenger from Mary, who shared with us a timely instrument from the Mother of God who is calling me and you to prayer and fasting from the heart. Time is short...The great chastisement awaits the planet that will be knocked off of its axis and send us into a moment of global darkness and the awakening of consciences..Fr. Gobbi's messages presently bear the Church's official seal of approval, the "imprimatur" Thus he is ecclesiastically recognized. So, prepare yourselves with the weapons of the Brown Scapular, the Miraculous medal, the Benedictine medal, the prayers of the Most Holy Rosary, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the frequent reception of the Sacraments of Confession and Holy Communion. As God loves you, I love you, and love one another. Forgive one another form the heart. Nothing else really matters in this life." In Domino. Rev. Joseph Iannuzzi |
