measure earth angle to sun ,the answer is there ... measure were it comes out & were it sets .... ASk why all OLD Sundials in public places had being removed ...  have they really?? Yes US park Service had REMOVED & in some places REPLACED old sundials for REVISED versions/// the OLD ones installed over 200 years were Months off!
