Here' my prediction for the update we'll get tomorrow...

"This tragic 'accident' was quickly cleared up my the local Sheriffs office though, who are not treating this incident as suspicious and have released a statement explaining no foul play is suspected.... at all."

The statement went on to read "Mr ******* was a local research assistant with a passion for amateur astronomy. Well loved in his community and among many local astronomy outreach groups, ******* will be sadly missed. We have also concluded he may have been a bit of a loner and may have also suffered from OCD as when officers entered his address they found his home immaculate, to such an extent officers could smell what they believed to be bleach, as if they entire home had recently been cleaned top to bottom."

"There you have it folks, another strong lesson to us all on not storing live ammunition in places that it could easily 'go off' if we were to accidentally fall 2 flights of stairs onto it, with bound feet and wrists."

I was at Mills Observatory tonite and asked if Polaris was in its right position. The Guy said, how on earth would I know !

Why you did not asked for the sideway moon as well?

The telescopes used by astronomers are usually connected to a computer with the data about where things are located in comparison to where you are on earth.

I have to believe Astro has made a miscalculation or something is not calibrated.

The reason being that id Polaris was off by that much then the hole scientific world would be noticing it as well.

There is no doubt all those Astronomers dying over the last two years is more than a coincidence. If this is all about ELE-NIN - meaning there is some truth to the profound impact it will have on Earth - we can expect some serious global event pretty soon.

The world awaits the results of the Astro test with the
accurate equipment. Will it be a total waste of time to have posted? Or will it be something which he will be totally dumb-found by, and is afraid to post. Most certainly "earth changing" testimony right here on this thread.

Considering he said that if it were true it would make him a target probably..do you think he will tell us the truth? I would hope so.

It sure is good to have people like Astro on here though. He doesn't HYPE anything.

His post was not a total waste of time...He found an anomaly. He told us about it. He is checking and rechecking his measurements, data, instruments, etc. He's trying to debunk or verify. That's what is supposed to be done. He's not just pulling shit out of his ass because he had a feeling or a premonition. He's being forthcoming and truthful, and if it turns out to be nothing, he has still done us all a service.

I, for one, appreciate the hell out of Astro, even though he and I have bantered back and forth about stuff in the past. He's knowledgeable, even if I don't always agree with him because I have a feeling, lol.

I usually disagree with 100% of what he posts but appreciate all his posts none the less.

Heard the Geminid Meteor shower was supposed to be pretty good this year, between Dec. 14th and 16th. I think they are not gonna stick their neck out this year and try to predict how many meteors per hour though.
Should put on a pretty good show though, except for me, supposed to be cloudy where i live on two of those dates, might get a glimpse of them on the 16th however.

Hopefully hes ok.

Anyone know when he should have results based what it is
he's going to verify? Does orion have to show up first.
When does all we want to look at rise?.

It could be the weather is not cooperating ..could be cloudy or partly cloudy and he might have to wait for an opening in the clouds for another observation.
