Same here too, Worried about our two horses if we get a combination of cold AND high winds. Snow is not so much of an issue; we have a V8 Jeep, tried and tested in the German Alps. 2 feet of snow is just a minor inconvenience..  Indeed, it's going to be a tough winter, good luck ;) If you need any equine advice seek me out here, I would be happy to help, could start an equine thread or something so we can keep track. i got horses, too. Stocked up on hay  hope the ground doesn't freeze solid for 2 weeks, like two years ago! Never knew apples could freeze like rocks lol.
