You should try catching a bluegrass festival if you ever get the chance. Even if you don't think it's your kind of music.

I saw this group at a bluegrass festival only knowing the headlining groups. And the people were great.
There were country folk, mountain people, traveling family bands, blacks, japanese musicians, pot-smoking hippies, and other musicians who were there to get better at their art.
This is a music that really brings people together.
