Another clue: Admits to 40. Notice the perfect skin without a line or a wrinkle on the entire face - then notice the upper chest with it's lines, freckles and age spots. Also notice the size of her eyes in proportion to her face. And her nose. The nose is not quite right on her face. Might be on someone else's face, but not on hers.

Bottom line: This gal has had some plastic surgery. Not a great job, to be sure. In fact it looks like the results produced by non-board certified surgeons who have taken weekend courses in laser peeling and facial surgery to earn some extra cash.

She's probably a facelift too. But it was an older technique and there are areas of her face that almost look as if they're pulled the wrong way or are going the wrong way. (look closely!) She may have saved for years to afford the surgery and went to the cheapest guy she could find. No credentials and little talent, would be my guess.

(FYI: There are OB/GYN's doing facelifts and oral surgeons and even general surgeons who dive into the lucrative field of cosmetic surgery because it's cash on the line or a credit card and no insurance company telling you what you can and cannot charge.

The skin on her face looks like she's had deep CO2 laster or a deep phenol skin resurfacing of the face - but they didn't carry it down onto her neck and chest. Got rid of every line, freckle, etc., on her face. Because the doc didn't know how to carry the treatment on down to her chest and neck, it has left her neck/upper chest looking well beyond 40 by comparison. Notice the lines, freckles, etc. The straight white teeth are probably veneers. She has had at least one nose job (probably in her teens) and needs another now that she's older and her face has been tweeked a bit. The present nose just doesn't fit her face at all now.
This gal is the victim of mediocre plastic surgery. Not horrible or disfiguring, but not good either. The rule with any Plastic Surgery is that if yo can tell it's plastic surgery, then it's not a good job.

Just a few days before I met my current wife, I took a look at my match dot com inbox. There were a dozen messages.

Six messages were from women who posted no photos and said that they would send a photo, 'once we became friends'. I had photos posted and even said in the beginning of my profile, 'no photo, no response'. >FLUSH<

Three messages were from women who posted either their senior portraits (I was 46 at the time and the women responding were from 40 to 50) or photos that were so poor that it was like looking at thumbnails that had been enlarged 1000%.

Of the three that had viewable photos, one woman actually sent me a mug shot, orange jumpsuit and all.

One posted a photo of Andie McDowell. When I brought that up, she mentioned that it was okay because all her friends told her that she looked like Andie McDowell. "That's all well and good," I said, "but. I'd like to make that decision for myself." To which she replied, "I don't know how to put a photo on my profile." I was tempted to ask her how the photo of Andie McDowell got there, but decided it was a waste of time.

The winner, however, was from a woman who claimed to be 40, but from her photo, looked to be at least 65. She said that she had prayed about it before she contacted me and that God told her to tell me to sell my house and move in with her. He also told her that I should take the money from the sale and help her pay off her trailer.

First I am in that category now, but 20 years ago I was not. I just kept looking and trying various things, but I would not settle for someone unsuitable.

Second, any relationship that would have involved raising another man's kids would have been unsuitable. So such a woman can be picky, but if other men are like me, it will likely result in failure to find a mate.

Third, again I am sorry for what happened to her. But now she says she is keeping the relationship because he pays for everything. He cheated, but he pays for everything, so it's fair she says. And I ask, what about men who don't cheat, why should they pay for everything like this POF woman is asking? They have nothing to atone for.

I've been with the same person for two years and through our hardships we have both taken on at one time or another most of the responsibilities involved in maintaining our chances for a future together and have both of us have grown as individuals.

We never had impossible standards or demands for each other that are greater than our demands for ourselves, we just fell in love because of who we are to each other.

I am not tempted by the approaches and I wouldn't want to cheat on her for all the riches in the world, because she is more important to me than myself and is very special to me and truly more beautiful on both the inside and outside than any "novel" female could ever be.

It may not last forever, but at least it's real.

I never called men pigs, that was the other lady. My chiristian husnand betrayed me, told me and I forgave him, because I would rather have honesty than lies. I also lost trust in men when that happened. But I am still married, I not stupid, why should I leave, and let someone else get to have him? I still love him. I should hope that when people marry that they are not just settling on anyone, unsuitable or otherwise, but life happens and sometimes you didn't make the best choice based on your upbringing and programming. Not everyone is lucky enough to have happily ever after.
