My husband was reading me the article while I was cooking dinner last night. I was like "what did they do?" "Did they rob a bank? or shoot a police officer?"

Nothing, they did nothing but flee. He had a record--but lots of people have criminal records, he didn't own a gun, possibly he was fleeing because he was afraid for his life, and rightly so.
