It realy makes one wonder, doesn't it? It is a phenomena that has no real explanation to date. Your suggestion could be right on. The humming and "engine reving up" has caused two of my dear friends to think they are the only ones hearing it and questioning their sanity. We will have to wait and see. And even then, we may never really know the true source or reason behind it.

Well, someone is awfully busy scaring the poop out of the world.

I posted the booms in Columbia County, Georgia on "the facebook" to see if any family or friends heard or experienced them - have heard nothing back yet, although, according to the news - it was on the road my family lives on.

Maybe you're correct - my family are all Christians and thus far no one has spoken that they heard it.

Strangely enough, my brother and I have the same recurring dream which we've had since we were kids, but didn't discuss until the last few years. He's 52 and I'm 47 and he's returning from Afghanistan tomorrow.

In the dreams - we see all the stars falling.

I had a dream that was kind of silly last night. I looked up at the sky in my dream and there was an arrow, as if hand drawn in chalk pointing straight up. I was shaken up and woke up before i could see anything.

I'll have to think about that one.

That's interesting - sometimes in the dreams I see weird cubes in the skies, but they always end with all the stars falling.
