I'm no atheist, but this thought smacks me in the face every time someone blindly calls on Jesus rather then take responsibility to their lives.

Why give your power to the thought of 'someone,' when you could invest the time and energy on yourself?

Trust, love and WANT yourself at the highest frequency you can attain in this life-time.

And of COURSE the US wants pot. It's a logical choice over real drugs, like alcohol.

No it's very related. Us as Americans are on the totally wrong path. We're greedy, arrogant, self serving. Of course we want to get high. "Max pleasure for MEEEEEEE" is our motto. Screw my neighbor or any young people I could be helping in other countries. Many people who believe pot should be legal don't even use it.

Why do people smoke it anyway? Couldn't they find something more productive to do with their time or money? hmmm idk like sponsoring a child in a third world country so they can get an education, food, or proper hygene?

If nobody smoked it there'd be nobody to lock up. That's the way it should be.

Oh, and the high and satisfaction of having an impact in another human beings life is millions of times greater than the small buzz you get from weed.

Caffeine should then be illegal. Caffeine does more harm to your body than marijuana, and is more addictive.

I just think a grown human who takes care of their business has the right to smoke a bowl or have a beer when they choose...

I've never met a pot head who was involved in Christian orginizations. Not to say there are none, I just don't think they go hand and hand.

The first shop opened up in NJ today. I have Crones and got my recommendation from my doc 2 months ago. I can now have 2oz's a month legally!!! Just waiting for the one to open closer to my house. Montclair is a hike for me.

I'm not trying to preach to you. You're a big boy you will get high regardless. We just need to look at the example we're setting for our youth. of course he can afford to because his parents are rich and his basement abode actually doesnt even look like a basement (has double door separate entry). Anyways, guy volunteers his time all over the place in spite of his pot usage. Some people doth protest too much and assume that which they have no clue on.

Marijuana stereotypically leads to philosophical debate (mostly about dumb stuff) but still, questions are the downfall of religion when you are supposed to blindly adhere to a strict set of principles.

well for starters there are plenty of charitable organizations that arent exclusively christian.

and secondly....you can now say you have met one! i do charity work through various orgainizations, some christian and some not.
