They're butthurt from his leaving. A week ago, they were singing his praises for dismantling Nebraska in the Big Ten Championship game. Don't listen to the fairweather Wisconsin Bielema-haters. The guy is the Hogs' answer to Saban and Miles. Arkansas wins the SEC within 2 seasons. Book it.

We shall see and I pray you are right.. He seems to be a good coach but Im worried about recruiting... Saban and the rest are cut throat motherfuckers.. This is one tough division. We will totally support him though if he does a good job.

He took you to a bowl game every year, thats not awful, granted the big ten is a soft conference compared to the SEC

Yeah! Good luck with recruiting... WI used to lose "the best lineman" in the country to other schools-even though they were Wisconsin farm boys... Good luck trying to recruit under a poor coach from the big ten going to the SEC

I have a feeling this guy makes Saban and Miles his bitches. And I think he can recruit fine. I watched his 45 minute press conference the other day and I was ready to throw on some pads and go play, and I'm not even a Hog fan.

Hey not taking anything away from Bielema for getting Wisconsin to the Rose Bowl the last 3 years (even though they didn't deserve it this year). But HE personally is a piss poor coach.. Look at the play selection against TCU last year... HORRIBLE... Look at the play calling against Ohio State... HORRIBLE

We are fortunate in that most good players in Arkansas want nothing more than to be a HOG. McFadden, Jones(felix and Matt), Hillis,Mallet, wilson... All born and raised here. Playing in the SEC is like going to a bowl game every saturday

It seems to be a mixed bag of opinions about this fellow. I hope he will open the mid west for us recruiting wise, get some of those big corn fed boys down here. I think he will be suprised at the passion of Hog fans and how tough our division is.

good luck with getting recruiting out of the midwest.. Bielema's from Iowa, he could never get good recruits out of there. He was never really respected in Wisconsin because he was a Hawkeye.. So I dont he'll get you very good recruits out of the midwest... Now on the other hand Alvarez was a great recruiter for WI! He is the man! Alvarez was able to ride his coat tails. and the 350 pound Wisconsin linemans tails to 3 rose bowls... This is a good day for Madison that he is gone, now we can finally get a defense and a qb!!! LOL

I guess we will see, I think players here are excited about the Defense he will bring, we may not be a quarterback school anymore but thats not what wins the SEC

True... Most of that team was Alvarez's... but then again most of Wisconsin's recent teams are still because of Barry@ I hope Barry coaches the Rose Bowl... Then Paul Cryst for next year!!!

I don't get why Badger fans seem to hate him so much. Seems to me he has been pretty successful. Certainly better than fucking Ferentz. Maybe they have short memories, and have forgotten just how bad it CAN get.

True Ferentz's is horrible.. I think many of us dislike Bielema because of his play calling/lack of recruiting.. Most of his success came inspite of himself! Alvarez was the man behind the scene carrying the team

If he can beat Bobby Petrino that is saying something. We only lost to #1 Alabama and #2 that year, and Bielema.

With WI offense line every year, all they have to do is hand the ball off every down and its a guaranteed 5 yards all day..

Mixed feelings on the guy. Sometimes he did a great job, sometimes he was a bonehead. I would compare his stay in Madison with that of Les Miles in LSU - the coach everyone loves to hate, but usually gets the job done. I could see him being a success in the SEC, but we shall see. It will depend upon his coaches

I'm not sure why he left - there were rumors of internal friction and that his contract was not going to be honored after this season. Also, I think he got tired of living in Alvarez's shadow.
