How about keeping an eye on someone, when it's your JOB, and making sure that the police know where the person is, when they finally arrive?

Hey, I've been in the exact same situation as Zimmerman was, where I had to keep an eye on someone after I had called the police, so that they could not just disappear. If they HAD disappeared, the burglaries would have CONTINUED.
