ah everyday I remember when phones only existed in homes and not even in every home...

We had a "party line". Was great entertainment when I was a kid and great for adults gossip. I wonder y nobody even thought of invasion of privacy back then, It just was the way it was. Ring Ring. I miss the rotary pulse dialing.

I remember when I was at this concert in 92 tripping balls and saw 3 Mickey Harts during the drums segment.
Ahh good times...

I remember when I was my grandfathers remote control for the Solid State 15" Black n White Television and antenna rotor for the far away channels.

I remember when My mother sister and I walked to this mall in Harvey Illinois every weekend the to Jack n the box for a burger. Found my first swiss army knife on 1 of them walks lying in the dirt.

I remember every morning in public school reciting the pledge of allegiance and the Lord's prayer with the principal leading over the PA system.

Yes we had electricity, but Edison just invented it.

No politicians or newscasters ever talk about what life would be with less debt...I want someone to tell me what would change in our society, we still have greed, unfiltered power and ignorance to deal with no matter how much money we have.
I like that debt link though, aint that crazy.

remember When:

-your town had only one cop
-you could smoke in hospitals
-we believed wars were fought for OUR FREEDOMS
-a concert was 10 bucks
-there was no such thing as tramp stamps
-teenage girls were innocent

Krystal...wazzz dat..lol it looks like a white castle, never seen that, someone reverse engineered the white castle and marketed it..wow. I Remember a Black Castle in Chicago, owners painted the restaurant Black, wonder how that worked for the chain rules.

I remember going out during the summer and playing til 8-9 at night riding your bike (no helmet) and knowing the neighbors by name saying hello to them.
I remember playing with click clacks and sleds that were made of real wood
I remember hearing the crickets and having only a few channels on the big ole console TV on Friday nights staying up late watching Creature features & twighlight zone and then cartoons on only Saturday's

Krystal 1932....White Castle 1921, I had to check that out.

I remember when the horse with his cart brought the milk to your door everyday. He knocked on the door and would not leave till he got a sugar lump.

Street lights were gas lights and the local junk shop had a penny farthing for sale.

Teachers used a cane and threw things at you.

You listen to radio plays.

You ate bread and dripping as a treat.
