It's only risen less than a half inch in the past 20 years but it's going to get worse. [ link to mobile.slate.com] I wonder what your grandkid will think of your mark and your opinion when he's grown... Less than half an inch..would be a about a centimeter...and Im telling ya..the mark has not even moved a millimeter. I put the etching about 1mm above the high tide line. ITS STILL 1mm above the high tide line. EXPLAIN? Your methodology isn't that rigorous, you know. I'm biased toward SCIENTIFIC STUDIES over Australian anecdotes. Well if its NOT that rigorous..you should have NO trouble at all explaining how a mark made 1mm above a high tide mark 30 years ago is STILL 1mm above the high tide mark today. So..lets hear YOUR rigorous explaination. Waiting.
