I just smoked my first legal bowl

Not trying to brag or anything, but I just had my first legal bowl. Think about that. For the first time in my lifetime, people are legally smoking, vaping, eating, or drinking some some pretty good product.

Up til now,medical patients have been able to feel pretty safe, but in reality,they have only had a legal defense this entire time. They could have been arrested and their crops could have still been destroyed. They would have just been able to use the doctors note in their defense

Some may have wake&baked without fear of prosecution for the first time. Well not a legitimate fear.

4:20 was probably the longest minute some have experienced in a long time.

Haters gonna hate, and its not a perfect law, but it is pretty damn awesome to live in the state with the first legal weed.

Here's the thing. Who cares? I'm very happy some states have legalized marijuana. But as I watched all the dirty, white, dredded up kids burnin down u dee the space needle, I cringed. For those who don't smoke pot and have negative opinions of pot, seeing that on tv isn't going to help.

Exactly. I'm all for legalizing nation wide and if it was t for being drug tested at work I would be burning. But the glamorization of weed is just annoying. Grow up smoke like an adult.

Why people think legalizing this stuff is a good idea I really will never understand. It's really pretty ironic that a lot of the same idiots who talk about big pharma drugging America are the same ones willing to smoke themselves into idiocy.

Our nation went to shit a long time ago. If anything pot will hopefully wake a few sheep up and make them see through the lies.

Technically it isn't legal in Washington to buy pot yet. The liquor control board has a year to determine who can sell, who can grow and who can process the pot. They will also determine the strength of the pot. To participate in growing, processing or selling it costs $250 to apply for a license and the license itself costs $1000/year. Anyone who grows or processes pot cannot sell it or have any interest in a business that does sell.

No part of the manufacturing or selling of the pot can happen within 1000 feet of a school, transit station, library, park, etc. The liquor control board will also set limits on how many people can grow/process/sell in each county. So, it isn't like you're going to be able to walk into your local 7-11 and pick up a pack of joints.

I voted against this law because it is an invitation for only allowing tobacco corporations to participate. They'll probably get in bed with Monsanto and only allow GMO weed. And the weed will suck because the potency will be limited.

The only good thing is that this law doesn't effect medicinal growers. They don't officially sell, they just ask for suggested donations. ;)

The Colorado law allows individuals to grow their own and I wish Washington's law did the same.
