Pure pharmaceutical grade methamphetamine is a real weightloss drug and miracle stimulant. Of course they suppress the use of it and make it almost totally illegal except for the VERY rare instances that it is prescribed. I was addicted to opiates for 3 years and benzodiazapenes for the last of the year. I also started using methamphetamine that last year as well, because my dealer smoked it and, I guess he was lonely so he'd smoke me out every day for free so I'd hang out. What I started when I was high on meth was, I'd look in the mirror and see a pimple or something. So I'd go to try and pop it. Then, I'd see a blackhead. Gotta get rid of that...Next thing you know I had spent eight hours picking at every pore on my face. And I ended up doing that like every day. Had all these sores on my face and I'd just keep pickin' at 'em and pickin' at em. Looked nasty, but the thing was I couldn't see how nasty I looked. I thought I just looked like I had bad acne. It was fucking awful and I couldn't see it. One day I lost my job and suddenly was unable to support my combined $300ish a day habits. Best thing that happened to me. Wasn't going to steal anything, and I had a moral thing against selling drugs (weird I suppose) so there was no money for my stuff and I had to quit. Strangely though, meth was the easiest thing to quit. I felt absolutely no physical withdrawal symptoms besides being a little tired for about three days. Benzos had horrible withdrawal, for two weeks straight I felt like I couldn't breathe and had to consciously tell myself to take each breath. Had a seizure too I think. Anyways, yeah, methamphetamine is unique in the fact that you're absolutely blind to the harm you're doing, which is different from the other drugs (you see the harm, but don't care too much). |

It explains the chemistry behind the skin problems. And WWII. [link to www.amazon.com] Another brilliant read from the pen of Mick Farren and it's a topic he knows very well from his time spent as both a consumer of illicit substances and an observer of the carnage speed has left and is leaving from the 60s, the 70s punk scene, the rave scene and to the present. From the original synthesis in 1887 and the hope that it would be able to help asthma sufferers to its use by the Hilter and the Nazis, Elvis, Johnny Cash, the Warhol crowd, trailer park meth labs, the gay scene, the DEA and what is yet to come this is a completely compelling - and indeed - speedy read. I suggest you hold on tight though cause you'll be grinding your teeth and sharing the nightmares right alongside the wreckage. |

I take back what I said and I agree. Of course an inanimate object can ruin lives. My cigarette burned a hole in my furniture and blackened my lungs. I didn't do it. The cigarette walked out of the package and went up to my lips and lit itself. Then it started controlling my lungs and brought its nasty smoke into my system. I can see now it is not myself but inanimate objects that are responsible for my misfortunes. |

No drug that alters your perception of reality is a "miracle." Meth isn't illegal because of some conspiracy to take away your rights. I understand the argument to legalize most recreational drugs, but meth has no redeeming quality to society. It destroys people. If you need to take drugs to lose weight then you have bigger problems. I have an amazing weight loss technique that doesn't harm the body, doesn't involve drugs, doesn't require a prescription, and doesn't cost you money. In fact it saves you money. It's called STOP FUCKING EATING. To suggest that a stimulant should be used as a pharmaceutical weight loss drug is crazy. And yes I know that we already use other stimulants as weight loss drugs, and its sickening. It shows everything that's wrong with our society. We can't stop stuffing our faces so we have to take drugs to increase our heart rates so we can continue to stuff our faces without becoming completely obese. We really are fucked |

It's made in this country by Americans out of chemicals. So the whole "legalizing it will put drug cartels out of business" argument doesn't work with meth. There is literally only one reason to legalize meth, and that is for personal freedom. The problem is that meth is so dangerous and damaging that it affects everyone around the person smoking it or cooking it. A house that someone cooked meth in will always make people sick after that. Therefore, giving someone the freedom to ruin their own life with meth might be fine, but not when it infringes on other's rights. If my neighbor smokes pot who cares. If my neighbor snorts cocaine that's his business. If my neighbor smokes meth then I care cause that affects me. The nutcases that think meth should be legal give libertarians a bad reputation. |

We just notice them because they blow themselves up a lot. [link to www.drugfree.org] "Quantities of meth being moved north from Mexico into the United States are increasing. Last year, U.S. agents brought in 20,000 pounds of meth on the southwest border, double the amount seized in 2008. Agents say street prices for meth are either staying flat or decreasing, a sign that there is an abundant supply. Mexico has made it more difficult to buy meth ingredients from pharmacies, but drug cartels are importing their own shipments of chemicals, the article notes. These chemicals often are imported by companies that seem legitimate, making it more difficult to find them." After the DEA busted the Hell's Angels, that sent Meth production over the border. [link to www.fas.org] The extensive involvement of polydrug trafficking organizations from Mexico in methamphetamine production and distribution has redefined the methamphetamine problem in the United States. There are several reasons why organized crime groups operating from Mexico have been able to achieve dominance of the methamphetamine market: these organizations established access to wholesale ephedrine sources of supply on the international market; these organizations are producing unprecedented quantities of high-purity methamphetamine on a regular basis; and, these polydrug organizations control well-established cocaine, heroin, and marijuana distribution networks throughout the western United States, enabling them to supply methamphetamine to a large retail-level market. Presently, these organizations are poised to supply methamphetamine to the rest of the country in response to any increases in demand Last Edited by zenobiaphobia on 12/08/2012 03:59 AM Books relevant to our current situation will appear here at random: [link to archive.org] |

No drug that alters your perception of reality is a "miracle." Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1544701 FFS, METH IS NOT A HALLUCINOGENIC/DISSOCIATIVE DRUG! It's a straight-up stimulant, like coffeine or tobacco. Amphetamine, meth's A+ little brother, is THE stimulant that that all others are evaluated against. People who lose their minds on meth likely haven't slept in over 48hours and are completely running on adrenaline-autopilot survival mode (keep in mind, some people who take their legal/illegal substance uses to such a degree are usually a bit screwy even if sober). They just need to smoke some weed, chill, eat a case of donuts and sleep it off for a whole day. Taking a double-dose of cough medicine (active ingredient is usually DXM) would alter your perception of reality moreso than peaking on meth 1-2 hours after first dosing. |
