Yeah, it's like they told him, "we'll only renew you for a third season if you go off the reservation and make a fool of yourself." His episodes on 9/11, JFK and the Denver Airport were all great and informative, but even I knew the silliness of this Ozarks episode. And as to the proliferation of banks in Mountain View, AR, that's been an epidemic throughout Arkansas. In my hometown, we've seen a multiplication of new banks coming in. Also, what they don't tell you about the population to bank ratio there is, that while the city limits have a population of less than 3,000, the town serves an outlying rural area of maybe 15 to 20 thousand people. Comparing to NYC and LA is ridiculous because those people are all crammed into the city, while in Arkansas, in most places people don't live in the city limits, people are spread out and live in unincorporated areas, etc, but when they do their business they "go into town." Mountain View is "town" to many folks living out in the country.

I was also thinking that, only because the first seasons were so much better and these are like almost comical, when stone came running out with the OZ ARC thing I thought that was a cool little discovery but the way they went about it, I thought we were about to hear corny sound effects in the back ground lol.

I also thought it was incredibly cheesy the shots of stone riding his motorcycle around like hes friggin super cool man.

Judging the way Jesse was in the first seasons and they way he is now and the way the show is edited I truly believe this season is strictly to discredit the entire show and make it schticky.

My take on Ventura is he's making $ any which way he can. He's hustling. Former governors generally make $ by sitting on corporation and other institutional boards, giving speeches before professional organizations and what-not. Ventura is so essentially ignorant and poorly educated that he doesn't have these options, so he hustles any way he can.
