SEN. RAND PAUL: I have yet another thought on how we can fix this. Why don't we let the Democrats pass whatever they want? If they are the party of higher taxes, all the Republicans vote present and let the Democrats raise taxes as high as they want to raise them, let Democrats in the Senate raise taxes, let the president sign it and then make them own the tax increase. And when the economy stalls, when the economy sputters, when people lose their jobs, they know which party to blame, the party of high taxes. Let's don't be the party of just almost as high taxes.

I hate the idea of the cliff-falling, but since Obama refuses to even consider any other option, then let him and his army of self loving assholes tax themself into oblivion. Then when everything falls ontop of them, and it will, they will only be able to blame themselves, and give all credence to everything the Republicans have been saying about Obama. Absolutely. This is the problem with the Democrat/Republican dichotomy. Democrats can and will do anything to acquire and retain power, including destroying the lives of hundreds of millions of Americans. Republicans are constantly trying to rescue those same hundreds of millions of Americans.

Democrats are busy drilling holes in the bottom of the boat so everyone will call them "Captain", and Republicans never cease to run around with chewing gum patches, trying to plug the holes while never "attacking" the evil bastards with the drill.
