Although we are often unaware of our indebtedness to this other civilization, its gifts are very much a part of our heritage. The technology industry would not exist without the contributions of Arab mathematicians. Sufi poet-philosophers like Rumi challenged our notions of self and truth. Leaders like Suleiman contributed to our notions of tolerance and civic leadership.

And perhaps we can learn a lesson from his example: It was leadership based on meritocracy, not inheritance. It was leadership that harnessed the full capabilities of a very diverse population–that included Christianity, Islamic, and Jewish traditions.

This kind of enlightened leadership — leadership that nurtured culture, sustainability, diversity and courage — led to 800 years of invention and prosperity.

In dark and serious times like this, we must affirm our commitment to building societies and institutions that aspire to this kind of greatness. More than ever, we must focus on the importance of leadership– bold acts of leadership and decidedly personal acts of leadership."

While the I think the OP and his supporters are retarded, I do agree that the laws in Pakistan and other muslim countries are barbaric and primitive and cause a lot of misery for the citizens. Americans can rant and rave on the net all they want but they're not getting any hurt from the muslims. They're just being butthurt for no reason at all. The real victims are the citizens of those countries. And it's a self perpetuating cycle in those countries. To gain power, one must be corrupt. To gain more power, one must suck up to America and other powerful nations and compromise their own ideals and values in order to have any influence at all.
This is how America has affected the creation of corrupt systems in different countries while American citizens whine about muslims being so bad.

And just for your general knowledge OP, I'll tell you that communism is looked upon as a very bad thing in Pakistan. It goes against religion and most of the communists I know here are atheists. Communists and muslims don't get along in usual circumstances.
